Mr. Arthur Blitz began his career as a solo practitioner on Brooklyn's famed Court Street and continues on as the consummate professional trial lawyer. Whether he is handling a complicated medical malpractice case or a trip and fall involving public property, Arthur is always prepared to give his all to his clients. In return, his clients not only benefit from his expertise but also from numerous multi-million dollar awards. These awards do not reflect an impersonal goal for monetary gain, but reflect Arthur's desire to change laws and protect his clients. Always on the cutting edge of trial law, some of his cases have paved the way for stricter requirements for automobiles and highway designs. His lawsuits have initiated reforms in medical procedures as well. Arthur is one of the most versatile lawyers in our practice and is often the point person in accepting new cases.

Arthur has been an active member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association and is currently the Dean Emeritus for that organization. Arthur devotes his time to lecturing to various groups on different aspects of trial practice, but also gives his time and knowledge to his fellow lawyers.

$25,000,000 jury verdict following liability verdict for tire repairman who sustained severe head injury while changing a tire when it exploded.

$2,000,000 for a case involving a 35-year-old man who fell from a scaffold while doing window tinting.

$4,000,000 settlement against New York State for defective road design. Plaintiff, in a one-car accident, left the road and struck an abutment.

$6,000,000 verdict on theory of zone of danger for a mother who witnessed the death of her daughter who was struck by a car.

$3,000,000 settlement for the parents of a baby born with cerebral palsy due to the doctors' malpractice in their failure to timely perform a caesarian section.

$2,100,000 settlement for twins born prematurely with cerebral palsy as a result of undiagnosed infection.
